With years of private teaching experience and a degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music, Alex models his teaching style after the many accomplished musicians and educators who instructed him such as Hal Crook (NBC Tonight Show, Tony Bennet, Johnny Hartman) John Lockwood (Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard), Matthew Garrison (Joe Zawinul, Herbie Hancock) among others.
